WHEN & WHERE DO YOU TEACH?
We teach on every suitable day from April – October; please call us to determine course availability.We teach either on the sandbar at the mouth of the Exe estuary or in the estuary itself depending on the conditions on the day. The time & location will be confirmed when you book.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS DO YOU HAVE?
Our instructor is registered with the British Kite Surfing Association (BKSA) – the sport’s governing body in the UK, and the International Kiteboarding Organisation (IKO) – the sport’s international governing body. Courses have a maximum of 4 students per instructor.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
We provide all kitesurfing and safety equipment, including a wetsuit. You need to bring swimwear, an old pair of trainers, a towel, an old pair of sunglasses & something to eat & drink.
WHAT IF I WANT MY OWN EQUIPMENT?
Special deals are available if you have had tuition with us. We stock Naish kites and boards from beginner to expert.
WHO CAN LEARN TO KITESURF?
We teach from ages 8 upwards. You are never too old to learn! You need to be fairly fit, confident in water & be able to swim 50 metres. No previous experience is necessary. Please note - progress will depend on ability.
HOW DO I BOOK?
By phone or visit the shop. Weekends fill up fast, so book early. We ask that you pay a £10 deposit to confirm your place, and then the balance must be paid on the day. Please fill in & sign the booking form on the reverse & bring it with you when you come for your course.
WHAT IF THE WEATHER IS NOT SUITABLE?
Rather than carry on regardless, we will defer the course to another day at no extra charge to maximise your time on the water. If we are unable to find another day to suit you, we will refund your course fees.
