School Activity - Team Building / Problem Solving / Bush Craft
Instructor Qualification: Experience in teaching and providing activity sessions, some in-house training where appropriate.
Group Size: Max 30 (1 adult helper required per 6-8 students)
Duration: 2 hours
Stop Decision: Inclement conditions, any other good reason.
Activity Outline:
The instructor will meet the group and ensure that they are suitably attired. A brief introduction will be given outlining the activity and the aims of the session.
Students will be encouraged to solve the problems on their own. The staff member will step in only to discipline or steer the group as appropriate. It is felt that much value is derived from the review of the team performance at the end of the session.
All equipment used is constructed and checked daily by the staff.
At the end of the session the students will store the equipment as instructed.
